I love the relationship between the materials and subject matter in this piece, these handmade papers are made from natural plant fibres, and the dusky pink paper also incorporates small dried leaves. Featuring my favourite moon motif behind a simple fern silhouette cut from a deep blue card, the background colours give this piece warmth and depth, it would sit beautifully amongst other larger pieces of artwork.

This papercut was created by my fair hand in the studio and is one of a collection made in the summer of 2024. The piece comes with a distinctive circular aperture mount, creating a unique frame for this simple nature-inspired artwork.
