As the Arctic Tern makes one of the longest animal migrations on earth - most of the distance over open water, I thought a backdrop of these blue and green circles would be perfect. Cut from handmade paper and blue printed newspaper, the Tern is hand-cut from a deep ochre card.

Made by me in the studio, this piece is part of a larger collection made in the summer of 2024

The piece comes with a distinctive circular aperture mount, creating a unique frame for this simple nature-inspired artwork.
