I had so much fun creating this gift wrap, the background for this design was made by applying watercolour paint over an old map of the sea. I played around with shapes and silhouettes of Swallows on the computer to create this final repeat design.

I designed this paper so that it could have multiple uses, so as well as being brilliant gift wrap, it can also be used for paper crafts and collaging, wallpapering dolls houses or lining drawers.

Did you know you can iron paper? If you’d like to remove the crease lines, try with your iron on its lowest setting and use a clean cloth on top of the paper. Work in gentle circles along the crease.
